I am Carly Vickerman, a User Experience Designer ++ User Experience Researcher from the Midwest, United States. I am currently working as a freelance UX Designer ++ UX Researcher. I am establishing, creating, launching, and posing questions to design areas that need solutions. I am gaining expertise in multiple new areas with various new projects.
Above all else, what truly drives me is an insatiable fascination with the world around me. I constantly seek to answer grand inquiries, which leads me to explore the finer details of life. With a profound appreciation for art, fashion, aesthetics, truth, beauty, morality, justice, and goodness, I channel my understanding into creating designs that serve the needs of others.
My work is a fusion of art, the pursuit of beauty, and a deep commitment to treatment for lives around us with care. Understanding who I design for is paramount, and I strive to cater to their unique requirements.
With my ties to UX Design- I research user experience through empathy, stay soft with soft skills, breathe life into fresh ideas and concepts, and reason with analytical abilities while making user personas, prototypes, and mock-ups.
In a previous life, I've held close to faith. I've gained experience in life through the value of honesty, the grit of perseverance, and that even in life's difficult moments, kindness and fairness should overflow all the more.
I've held actual roles in life as follows: retail, art museums, crafts, tech, styling, curation, and professional photography. With these roles, I've learned that one should strive for excellence, whatever that may look like for them, and continue to be expectant of hope no matter the timeline.
